Casey Hanley, Executive Director
Casey has been providing compassionate and results-based Care Navigation for several years at Merritt Mental Health. She is devoted to helping patients and families find the best health care resources possible while offering support, education and advocacy throughout the Care Navigation process. Casey obtained her B.A. from Loyola University Chicago and a Masters in Ethics from the Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley.
Since joining Merritt Mental Health, she has provided research assistance and organizational support in mental health education. In 2017 she helped organize a groundbreaking workshop on addiction resources in the Bay Area, which was attended by local prominent mental health practitioners. Casey was a research assistant for the book, Addiction Care Navigation in the Bay Area: A Guide to Programs and Professionals. In the past Casey has worked as a project manager for non-profit organizations. A parent of three, she serves on the school board in the roles of parent education coordinator and fundraising.
Casey lives in Walnut Creek with her husband and three young children. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, running, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
