Hospitals and Treatment Centers
One of our aims at Merritt Mental Health is to facilitate smooth transitions of patients into and out of hospitals and treatment centers. To these ends, we seek knowledge about the services and treatments each center offers, and we work towards effective collaborations that will ensure successful and continuous care.

Referrals and Admissions
Merritt Mental Health often receives requests from patients and their family members for consultations related to treatment planning. Not infrequently the level of care required is intensive outpatient or residential.
To provide excellence in consultative services and referrals, Dr. Merritt regularly visits IOPs and residential treatment centers to understand their philosophies and approaches to care.
We seek to discover the best mental health treatment centers in the United States and look forward to collaborating with you to maximize the health and well-being of both patients and families.
At MMH we are especially interested in excellence in aftercare planning. This is an evolving area of expertise at Merritt Mental Health, one we are striving to strengthen and improve daily.
If you represent a hospital, treatment center, or IOP that prides itself on excellence in discharge and aftercare planning, please contact us. We are eager to exchange ideas on best practices with you and to collaborate to minimize relapse and re-hospitalization across the continuum of mental health treatment.
We look forward to hearing from you.
